Why is MaxxBass better?
MaxxBass improves bass by increasing the perceived bass frequency range by up to one and one half octaves, allowing you to hear deeper frequencies on smaller speakers - without forcing the speaker to deliver frequencies it can't. Why not euqalizers?
An equalizer can be used to boost the low frequency range of the spectrum. Inherently EQs increase the relative volume at the lower end of the speakers frequency range. EQs provide little increase in bass frequency range and destroy the frequency balance of the original music. This boost, especially if the input is high, create s distorted sound, overloads the amplifier and the speaker. Over extended use there is a high likelihood of burning the speaker and/or the amplifier.
Why not subharmonic synthesizers?
A subharmonic synthesizer generates a signal component that is an octave below the lowest present frequency. Apart from requiring more amplifier power to deliver, these generated frequencies cause large speaker driver excursions that can result in the speaker
"jumping the gap" or breaking apart.

Small speaker systems
MaxxBass significantly enhances audio systems with small speakers such as PA in restaurants and retail. These systems typically equipped with small ceiling mount speakers will be dramatically enhanced by allowing listeners to enjoy the deep bass tones in music without adding a subwoofer. It will eliminate system distortion caused by trying to push the PA to deliver frequencies its speakers cannot reproduce.
Clubs, dj, band systems
MaxxBass can be utilized on both main and monitor speakers. On the main speakers with subwoofers, MaxxBass delivers a deeper bass sensation without over- driving the subwoofer. Connect MaxxBass between the system's crossover unit low (frequency) output and the subwoofer amplifier. A main speaker system not including a subwoofer can achieve the sound of a subwoofer by using MaxxBass.
On-stage monitors normally use smaller speakers, either in side-field or personal monitoring setups. Use MaxxBass to enhance the on-stage monitoring system to allow it to deliver a fuller, deeper, and thus less harsh sound.
Sound reinforcement
