.MiDisaurus is the award
winning multimedia music learning system designed for music
beginners by music educators.
MidiSaurus is a complete, interactive music
curriculum dedicated to children. It is designed to discover and
nurture each child's musical talent in a fun and engaging manner.
The program is filled with games, activities, songs and concepts
that will allow each child to discover the joy of music in a fun,
non-threatening way. MiDisaurus, the lovable dinosaur character,
will gently guide each child through a wonderful, new world of
musical understanding and skills.With over 500 entertaining
activities in Volumes 1-8, MiDisaurus provides a complete basic
music curriculum for children ages 4-11. An edutainment approach
holds the child's interest with colorful animation, fun-filled
games, songs and activities. MiDisaurus develops real music
skills, an understanding of music in relation to history and
culture and the ability to be musically creative.

It uses pictures, in association with musical
examples, to help the child relate graphics or animated sequences
with sound. All instructions are given both on the screen and
read aloud, making the product easy to use for non-readers.
MiDisaurus develops real musical skills in music fundamentals,
music theory, eartraining and an understanding of musical form
and history. Students begin with simple concepts (Loud/Soft,
Same/Different); continue to basic concepts (Note & Rest
Values, Notes on The Grand Staff); and then to more advanced
concepts (Scales, Chords, Progressions). Creative and
entertaining games make drills fun and easy. MiDisaurus is
designed for use with or without a MIDI keyboard; an interactive
on-screen keyboard helps children work with concepts such as
scales, intervals and chords. Use of a MIDI keyboard with your
computer adds additional functionality to the program.
MiDisaurus keeps a printable "grade
report" on each child, making the program ideal for home,
school or private teacher use.
The hybrid CD-ROMs work with nearly all current
MAC and Windows computers. MiDisaurus is the fun way to teach
