These Meinl classics create strikingly realistic imitations of a flock of birds in flight or a rippling waterfall.
At first glance, the instrument appears to be only different in color. But, upon closer inspection, the sound bowls of both models have different sizes and thicknesses.
This produces the difference in sound. By using premium fiberglass, instead of the traditional fruit-bowl rattles of similar authentic instruments, a much brighter sound is produced, the dynamic range is increased, and optimum durability is realized .
