The MS-3’s specially designed footswitches give you simple command over your entire system. When using the Memory mode, the footswitches allow you to differ between patches and banks. When you change to Manual mode, you can switch loops and effects on/off,  as well as control multiple effects parameters for on the spot expression. Your Manual mode assignments can be stored in patches, allowing you to create custom setups when playing different songs and styles. Finally, the MS-3 supports USB connectivity for accessing the free MS-3 Editor/Librarian software on a Mac or Windows computer. This program lets you edit your effects, assign control parameters, set tempos, and more via a convenient graphic interface. You can also back up and restore individual patches, and organize groups of patches into Live Sets for various gigs.
