NEW AN-X SOUND ENGINE
The Montage M is equipped with our new AN-X engine, inspired by the classic AN1x synthesizer. The AN-X engine is full of inspiring sound shaping possibilities and is fully integrated into the Motion Control system, allowing you to create expressive, unique analogue sounds to your heart’s content.
EXPRESSIVE KEYBOARD FEEL
The Montage M6 and M7 are equipped with the same trustworthy and responsive FSX key action as the Montage with channel aftertouch. The Montage M8x boasts the new GEX graded hammer action with polyphonic aftertouch capability, for next-level expressive control.
CONTROL FEATURES
The Montage M gives you incredible control over your sounds. The super knob and motion control sequences are familiar options on Montage, with the Montage M also having a ribbon controller with HOLD button and a KEYBOARD HOLD button for sustaining chords while using the knobs to edit.

YAMAHA  sound design team created 58 new Performances to highlight all the new sound features.

A revolution in authentic analog sound, control and behavior, the AN-X engine recreates the warm, classic sound of an analog synthesizer with a host of sophisticated modulation options.
